The printing plate is a metal or plastic plate, in which the image is engraved. Depending on the application, you can choose nylon, thin steel or thick steel plates.
Nylon plates: Very simple to make (requires no special equipment except for an exposure unit) but last between 5 000 to 15 000 prints.
Thin steel plates: Still relatively simple to produce (requires an exposure unit and a special etching machine), but the lifetime of these plates is longer: between 20 000 to 100 000 prints.
Thick steel plates: These are 10 mm plates in special Chrome-steel. These plates are difficult to etch and require special devices. The endurance can be up to 1 000 000 prints!
